OPTIONS TO BOOK A HOTEL/HOSTEL ROOM:
It is possible to book a hotel or other lodging places online or by submitting a request. Information about the type of booking offered by a hotel is specified in the hotels table beside information on a particular hotel. - ONLINE booking system – you will receive confirmation by e-mail immediately after submission of a booking request.
- 48-HOUR booking system – you will receive confirmation by e-mail not later than within 48 hours after submission of a booking request.
HOTEL SEARCH: - Choose a hotel by location on the map of Latvia, specifying region, district, city or rural district.
- The system will pick out all hotels in the specified region.
- Specify check-in and check-out date, number of people and rooms, and press the "Search" button.
- Based on the information that you have specified, the system will select the hotels that:
- have free rooms for the time period and the number that you have specified, and that can immediately confirm a booking – online booking system; - could have free rooms for the time period and the number that you have specified, but that can confirm this within 48 hours – 48-hour booking system. - If you know the name of a hotel, enter the keyword in the blank cell and press the "Search" button.
BOOKING A ROOM / ROOMS: - Choose a particular hotel by clicking on its name. You can see description of a hotel, types of rooms and prices.
- Choose a room / rooms that you would like to book and press the "Search" button.
- When you have completed the request form, press the "Confirm" button.
- Review the confirmed form, check that you have read the terms of booking and agree with them, and press the "Send a booking request" button.
- When your request has been sent:
- if you use the online booking system, you will see a confirmation of the booking that you have completed; - if you use the 48-hour booking system, confirmation or refusal of your booking will be sent to the e-mail address that you have specified within 48 hours.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION: - If your booking has been confirmed, information about the booked hotel, as well as booking number that is necessary to register in the hotel, will be sent to the e-mail address that you have specified.
KEEP THE BOOKING NUMBER UNTIL THE MOMENT WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE HOTEL! - Booking must be cancelled in time, under the terms specified in description of a hotel and in the booking confirmation sent by e-mail.
IN CASE OF CANCELLATION OF BOOKING: - You must register under the "User notes" section with your username (e-mail) and login, and go to the "BOOKING HISTORY" section. In this section, you will see all bookings that you have completed. Choose the one that you want to cancel and press the "Cancel booking" button.
- Booking must be cancelled in time, under the terms specified in description of a hotel and in the booking confirmation sent by e-mail.
BOOKING REQUEST FOR A CONFERENCE HALL:
The CONFERENCES section of VISITLATVIA.LV, HOTELS.LV and VIESNICAS.LV allows you to: - make a booking request for a conference/seminar,
or - get acquainted with prices of a conference/seminar, and calculate the price of the event online yourself.
CALCULATION OF PRICE OF A CONFERENCE/SEMINAR AND/OR REQUEST OF A BOOKING:
1. CHOOSE PLACE AND TIME - Choose a provider of conference/seminar services by location on the map of Latvia, specifying region, district, city or rural district.
- The system will select providers of conferences/seminars in the region that you have specified.
- Choose a provider of conference/seminar services. Click on the name and you will see a detailed description of the provider of conference/seminar services, as well as images, capacity of rooms and table with prices.
- In order to calculate the price and see if booking is available:
- if you wish to book a room for several DAYS, specify the check-in/check-out date, number of persons and press the "Search" button; - if you wish to book a room for HOURS, specify the check-in date, expected time of the conference/seminar (from/to), number of persons and press the "Search" button. - Based on the time and number of persons specified, the system will select the rooms that fit your request.
- If you wish to request more than one room, they need to be requested separately.
- If you know the name of a provider of conference/seminar services, enter the keyword in the blank cell and press the "Search" button.
2. CHOOSE ROOM - In order to select a room and arrangement of tables for a conference/seminar, click on one of the types of room arrangement.
- In the table of conference/seminar room capacities and prices, click on the required capacity and type of arrangement, and the system will calculate the price of the room.
- To proceed to the next section of request, press the "Confirm" button.
3. CHOOSE EQUIPMENT - You need to enter name of the event in the corresponding cell of the request form.
- In the "Number" cell of the equipment table, specify number of units of the equipment that you will need", and press the "Confirm" button.
4. CHOOSE FOOD AND DRINKS - Specify number and type of mealtimes. Confirm the specified number by pressing the "Confirm" button.
- A table will open for you to choose food and drinks, press the "Choose" button and fill in the cells. Food and drinks must be specified separately for each day and mealtime!
- To determine the total price for the food/drinks, specify quantity of food/drinks in the "Quantity" cell, and press the "Confirm" button. If you have any particular requirements regarding food/drinks, please describe them in more detail.
- When you have confirmed time of the mealtimes, arrangement of tables, drinks and food, press the "Confirm" button.
5. OTHER SERVICES - Specify the additional services that you will need for the conference/seminar and press the "Confirm" button.
6. TOTAL PRICE - When you have specified your requirements in the previous sections, a list with information about your request will open up. If you wish to change any of the details, press the "Change" button.
- When you have completed the changes, press "Confirm" and go to the "Final confirmation" section.
- If you do not wish to make changes in the conference request, or when you have confirmed the changes, complete your contact information, read the booking/cancellation terms for conference halls, and press the "Confirm" button.
- Confirmation/refusal of your conference booking will be sent to the e-mail that you have specified within 48 hours.
- If your request has been confirmed, you will receive booking confirmation number and information about your booking to the e-mail that you have specified.
- Booking confirmation number is required if you wish to cancel or make changes in the requested booking.
- KEEP THE REQUEST NUMBER UNTIL THE MOMENT WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE LOCATION OF A CONFERENCE/SEMINAR!
