There are cash machines in all the major cities and towns of Latvia. Most of them accept EUROCARD, MASTERCARDS, VISA, JCB, DINER’S CLUB, and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards. In ATM you can also carry out other activities, for example, convert currency, pay bills and transfer money to another bank account.

If you are traveling to more distant regions of Latvia, we advise you to exchange foreign currency in advance and use cash if possible, as many places may not accept any bank cards.
